Meet Tedi Vatnika, DMD

Dr. Tedi Vatnika is a highly skilled endodontist dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. He graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University before earning his dental degree at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he finished at the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society for academic excellence and leadership.

After dental school, Dr. Tedi Vatnika practiced general dentistry in Lancaster, PA, gaining invaluable experience before returning to Temple University for a two-year endodontic residency, specializing in advanced root canal therapy, microsurgery, and the latest endodontic technology.

Committed to giving back, he has participated in 1000 Smiles, providing essential dental care to underserved communities in Jamaica, and Mission of Mercy, offering free dental care across communities in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Although Dr. Tedi Vatnika has called Delaware home since 2019, he has spent the last several years practicing as an endodontist in Lancaster, PA. However, his desire to serve the community he loves led him to establish First State Endodontics. He also serves as Section Chief of Endodontics at Christiana Care, where he trains general dentistry residents in advanced root canal procedures, ensuring the next generation of dentists are well-equipped to provide exceptional care.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, cooking, traveling, and relaxing at the beach. Whether exploring new cuisines or unwinding at home, he believes life is about good food, great company, and appreciating the little things.
